Janice & Steve Hefter

Janice and Steve Hefter have been involved in Jewish and pro-Israel causes most of their lives. Janice was active in the Free Soviet Jewry moment and they both attended the anti-Nazi March in Skokie, and the important Free Soviet Jewry rally in Washington DC. Since then they have been active in AIPAC, CAMERA, Friends of the IDF, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, The Foundation for Defense of Democracy, and Shurat Hadin.

 

In addition Steve is on the advisory boards of the Jewish Institute of National Security of America (JINSA) and the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Janice and Steve serve on the national Board of StandWithUs as well as the Chicago Board. The have a son, Justin and a daughter, Shira.

 

They believe in the mission of StandWithUs because of its action-oriented capabilities and its emphasis on providing the resources for educating students from grade school through college and beyond.
