Evelyn & Dr. Shmuel Katz

The first booklet that StandWithUs produced in 2003, Sometimes Things Aren’t What They Seem, was distributed in Florida and caught the eye of Evelyn and Dr. Shmuel Katz, who felt that our material would inspire people of all ages to have more informed conversations about Israel. They wanted the booklet distributed internationally and translated into different languages.

 

The Katzes not only sponsored StandWithUs materials, but they also were instrumental in opening our office in Israel, and in 2014 they co-sponsored this Education Center in its prime location, across the street from the King David Hotel. Due to this visionary support in creating The Evelyn and Dr. Shmuel Katz Education Center, StandWithUs is able to reach huge numbers of people from all different backgrounds via in-person and virtual programming. Dr. Shmuel Katz is a cherished board member of StandWithUs and he and Evelyn are deeply involved in our work. 

 

In addition, the Katzes support multiple great causes and hold Israel close to all that they do. We are blessed to have such caring, intelligent and active partners as Evelyn and Dr. Shmuel Katz who always inspire us to do more.
